Dr. Naajiah Muhammad is a seasoned herbalist, a doctor of holistic health, and a naturopathic practitioner whose work reflects more than four decades of dedicated study, practice, and community service. She was first introduced to natural healing as a child through her grandmother from the reservation and her older sister, whose use of herbs and traditional remedies left a lasting impression. These early influences were not only sentimental but meaningful. Dr. Naajiah faced health challenges her whole life which allowed a unique perspective and drive to commit herself to truly understanding natural healing from the inside out. Crediting her dynamic drive to her mother who instilled in her that everyone has challenges, some you can see and others you can’t see. This commitment led her into years of advanced study, certifications, and continuous learning. Dr. Muhammad trained with respected teachers such as Dr. Hamita Suleiman, Michio Kushi, Dr. M. Bracey, and many other holistic professionals across multiple disciplines. She expanded her education at the Michigan Institute of Natural Health and through coursework at Johns Hopkins University, where she studied alongside her husband. Her depth of training spans herbal medicine, holistic health sciences, lifestyle healing, nutrition, and naturopathic principles.As a practitioner, Dr. Muhammad creates custom herbal blends, natural formulations tailored to individual needs.
